PODCAST: How Streaming Is Changing The Game Of Making Money In Sports

Listen to the complete episode: Sports content is becoming even more valuable as Twitter Amazon Facebook and YouTube among others are acquiring the rights for programming that have been traditionally only distributed by networks like Fox NBC CBS and ABC. Facebook will stream 20 MLB games this season. Baseball has also secured deals with with OTT services DAZN to supply live coverage of standard season and postseason games in Austria Germany and Switzerland and also VEQTA to supply similar coverage in India

 

YouTube TV now has ABC CBS Fox NBC ESPN Fox Sports Network and Comcast SportsNet among many others. And the prvious month Amazon won the rights to stream Thursday Night Football this season
